NEW from University Libraries/Office of the Provost:

Last month we unveiled the Mason OER Metafinder–a federated search tool that performs real-time searches across 16 repositories of Open Educational Resources content.  In addition to searching well-known OER sites like MERLOT II, OpenStax and OER Commons, the Metafinder also queries sources like HathiTrust, DPLA, Internet Archive and others.   The technical work was done by Deep Web Technologies  … we worked with them in the past with our earlier Research Portals project which garnered us a Campus Technology Award in 2009.

We make the Metafinder accessible to other institutions.  Since its launch, it has been linked to by 75+ academic libraries across the United States and Canada.
